To put restrictions on Disabling the MetaCert Extension from Chrome Extensions Settings page.
My name is Shivanshu Rathore, a citizen of India and also a user of MetaCert extension for Google Chrome browser. I would love to keep this mail as short as possible and to gather your attention on this mail also.
A little introduction about myself and the reason why you should pay a very little attention to my mail is that, i am a freelancer manual exploratory tester. I wont say the thing which i am concerned about, is a bug, but a suggestion it is.
Metacert takes in a password and email id, and to make changes to the settings, password has to be entered. otherwise it will keep on blocking adult content. The only problem that i found out is, instead of knowing the password of Metacert to gain access to adult sites, one can easily open the browser and disable Metacert from the extensions page. Since, chrome doesn't give priority to putting password to Chrome, a person can easily disable Metacert from Chrome Settings.
So, i would like you to consider this observation, as the main purpose of Metacert is to block adult content, which is not happening in such cases. I have also prepared a Test Report on it, and willing to pass it on if this looks serious to you.
(I have also sent the above content to Paul, founder / CEO) through my gmail id)
