Metacert will not let me log into safe mode. Keeps crashing. What is going on? Why the sudden change?1 vote
I found it fairly easy to find inappropriate content on both sites (reddit often links to imgur). Can you work to block more of this please?1 vote

Hi paul, is there any way to get a daily report of browser history emailed? ie student's history sent to parents. Thanks!1 vote
The user interface needs to look more stylish and modern. That needs to be improved just like google chrome or dolphin browser. The next update needs to fix this hopefully.6 votes
Thanks for your feedback Abdul. I agree that we should update the design soon. But if/when we update the design it will look nothing like Chrome or Dolphin – it’ll be 10x better! :)
Our students use Edmodo for Quizes. If a teacher gives them a PDF, the student needs to be able to open the PDF in PDF Expert.11 votes
Is there anyway to make this harder? Is there a way that i can give someone else the ability to control access on my device?7 votes
IF a user hits the "block" button, which is right next to the "star" button, then the only way out of the block screen is to end the browser
You need a "back" or "cncel" button on the "block" page where you ask for a password because if a kid gets to that block screen, there's no way out5 votes
I love how well MetaCert works, but I would love the option for a setting for parents to add sites that they consider appropriate for their own child...I guess an unblock option on the iPad that requires parental login to permanently unblock a site or even temporary unblocking by hours or days, etc. Thank you for your consideration!

Have the browser redirect you to another page rather than displaying that the page is blocked and by doing so making the kids more curious3 votes
allow my account to share customized block lists across devices. you have my "account" so store the data in you website and sync the customized block list. what kid 1 cannot get to on his/her iPad should not be reachable for kid 2 either.1 vote
I have a customer who is reporting that the MetaCert browser does not include "Open In" support to open PDF files in Notability.
I have a customer who is reporting that the MetaCert browser does not include "Open In" support to open PDF files in Notability. Can you help me assist my customer to find the correct settings for this please?
My Big Campus support
We just received this support request and I would like to help you resolve it.
We actually had a customer query from one of your customers also – possibly the same one.
Here is their request
“It’s an interesting situation. I can pull PDF’s from a general website found through Google into Notability using MetaCert, but when I try to pull a PDF from MyBigCampus.com<http://MyBigCampus.com@@ (our classroom management resource) it does not give Notability as an option.”
This leads me to believe that it’s something you might need to do on your end as you would need to specify our browser as an application that can be used to open PDFs.
What do you think?
I was able to block inappropriate searches and images by installing Metacert, putting appropriate settings on strictest, and deleting Safari. I found the Metacert search engine to be clunky and slow and the print was tiny so preferred to use google. As said, Metacert on google did block inappropriate searches and images but when I clicked on shopping, it was obvious it didn't block shopping content that was inappropriate (try searching for *** and you'll see what I mean). Can we add a feature to somehow block that??4 votes
I’m sorry about the confusion about the MetaCert search engine. This is a new engine designed just for kids – we are going to update the page to make this obvious.
We currently only help you block pornography. But we are adding shopping and 19 other categories to our safe browsing preferences. It won’t block every shopping site as that would be impossible to get right – but we will make it much more difficult to kids to access shopping sites. I hope to have this in a few weeks.
Thanks for getting in touch.
If I am editing the settings, and then I press the "home" button, when I open the app up again, the settings are still showing and are able to be edited. I would like it so that when the app opens, it goes automatically to the browser window, not showing settings or history or any other password-protected areas.5 votes
I have put this on the roadmap so you should see it included in a future release – within the next few weeks.
In the meantime, is there anything else that you would like to see improved? And if you don’t mind me asking, how did you hear about MetaCert? It’s always extremely useful to get feedback.

I’m very sorry for taking so long to reply to this. For some reason our suggestions section hasn’t been triggering email updates.
We started the design of our iPhone browser this week and should have it ready in about 4 to 6 weeks.
When you say it would be great to have a password saving feature like Safari, what do you mean?
